Description:
TESLON Expanded PTFE Joint Sealant is a spooled TESLON Expanded PTFE Joint Sealant made of 100% virgin PTFE material with micro-fibrillated internal structure for excellent stability. TESLON Expanded PTFE Joint Sealant is resistant to all chemical products and solvents with the exception of alkaline materials. It has good resistance to elevated pressures and has a high thermal stability. TESLON Expanded PTFE Joint Sealant is odourless and tasteless making it suitable for food application. Upon compression, it forms a thin, hard ribbon that fills in surface irregularities and creates an extremely tight seal. It is capable of withstanding a wider range of pressures, temperatures and chemical environments than any other soft gasket.
