PTFE Braided packing impregnated with Yellow Aramid on the corners
ITK® style 204T is square braided packing manufactured using PTFE yarns and impregnated through Aramid fibres on the corners of the packing, this is then further lubricated with PTFE dispersion and special lubricants. This combination is very useful in sealing of high pressure piston pump. This unique combination of Aramid fibre and PTFE braided packing provides excellent tensile strength and dimensional stability to the packing.
Graphite/PTFE packing reinforced with Yellow Aramid on corners
ITK® style 225 is a high quality braided packing made of PTFE yarns blended with Graphite and Aramid fibres are reinforced on the corners with special lubricants. This packing demonstrates high tensile strength of aramid fibre and graphite impregnated PTFE self-lubricating fibres diagonally positioned and braided to produce a low friction, wear-resistant packing's. High quality combination of graphite impregnated with PTFE and edge finished reinforcement made from aramid yarn to prevent gap extrusion in high pressure and high temperature applications. Excellent sliding properties and thermal conductivity. Used frequently in positive displacement pumps and plunger pumps.
